Kariya Towers form a defining element of the Southlands Condos project in Mississauga, developed in partnership with JORG. The tower’s red interval floors articulate its silhouette, reading the building as a sequence of stacked volumes rather than a monolithic mass. The first block boldly cantilevers over the plaza below, creating a pronounced void that heightens the building’s sense of gravity and suspension. Together, these red horizontal bands introduce visual separation and lightness, allowing light to permeate the structure while establishing a dynamic relationship between the tower and the surrounding urban landscape.
